Racing

At the start of the season I wasnt sure which way things were going to go after I broke my hand in New Zealand(February).

Racing this year has been great, I feel like ive been improving at every race this year so far.Which has been my goal from the start of the season. I started out my first race this year at the Pro Grt in Port Angeles, where I got my first taste of how fast the world cup guys are going. After that I have kept my head down and have continued to work hard as I know I have a long way to go until im competitive with those guys. Racing over the past few years has been a struggle for me to stay healthy and focused. After racing against the top athletes in the sport I now realize how mentally and phsyically tough you have to be in order to be up there competing every weekend. I am deffinitley looking forward to later on in the season when I can race the entire world cup track! The speed that you have to go for that amount of time is really hard to do. I am currently typing this in the Glasgow airport well I wait for my flight to leogang.

First world cup

Deaner and I flew from the US open in New Jersey to Scotland, in the air port I thought I saw a Dylan Dunkerton... from the coastal crew so I went to go say hi.

Along for are journey in Europe was Remi and Miranda 2 fellow racers from BC.

Since we are all not of age to legally rent a vehicle Cori came along too.

The anthill guys were out shooting aswell at the world cup.

The track was long, fast, rough and rocky it was looking sweet.

So I came to Fort William, to race my first world cup of the year. I was feeling strong on the crash unfortunatley I had a crash with 1 minute left on the track, I ended up stacking into a tree... LAME! Now I am waiting to head off to Leogang for my next world cup, I am looking forward to getting into the finals and racing this week, here we go!
